Press ReleaseEdit

A STRING OF BRUTAL DEATHS MAY BE TIED TO AN UNLIKELY PERPETRATOR - After a series of brutal and deadly attacks, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) find an unlikely lead in a local nursing home. Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) goes to Adalind (Claire Coffee) to get answers that only a Hexenbiest can provide. Elsewhere, Capt. Production NotesEdit

  • Renard confronts both Nick and Adalind about Diana's drawings and the tunnel in which Diana saw the symbols from the cloth.
  • Eve continues to investigate the black skull, green-eyed creature and ultimately learns how to effectively use a mirror as a portal to enter the Mirror Dimension.

  • For the first time, a shot of Monroe and Rosalee's home was used for the opening quote scene.
  • The excerpt of the poem that Monroe recites to Rosalee, written by William Butler Yeats, is entitled "When You Are Old."
  • When Nick looks up information on Maddie Simms, the names Chris Lewis and Eli Thomashefsky are shown in connection to some of Maddie's recent online activity. This is a reference to crew members of Grimm, as Chris Lewis has worked as a Set Dresser since season 1, and Eli Thomashefsky has worked as the Department Head of Video Playback since season 1.
  • The location used for the site of the Westbridge Nursing Home, Rosemont Court, which is a northeast Portland retirement housing complex, was also previously used for the site of the Von Hamelin Music Institute in "Danse Macabre" in season 1.
