Dana Tomas was the wife of Sam Tomas and an old childhood friend of Wu's. She appeared in "Mommy Dearest".

Dana sends her husband, Sam, to get her prenatal medication from a pharmacy while she goes to bed. After she falls asleep, an Aswang extends its tongue through her window and stabs her in the belly button, sucking out the amniotic fluid. Dana wakes up to the intense pain and screams in horror as she sees the tongue inside her womb as the Aswang climbs into the room. Falling onto the floor, she cries out for help and attempts to fight off the creature, cutting it on the tongue and driving it away. A neighbor hears her cries for help and finds her bleeding on the floor, calling 911.

Sam arrives home as the paramedics are examining Dana. Dana and Sam are transported to the hospital, where doctors find an unknown sedative in her system. While she is recovering, both Sam and Wu visit her repeatedly.

A couple days later she is released from the hospital. Unknown to her, Wu sits in his car outside her house the night she is released to make sure she is safe. Sam is taking care of her in their bed when he hears a ticking noise. He gets up to check it out and behind him, he sees his mother, Lani in Aswang form. He is pushed down the stairs and is knocked out on the floor. Dana is then visited in her room by Lani, who says she came immediately after hearing of her "accident." Dana goes back to sleep as Lani hums to her. Once she falls asleep, Lani woges and sticks her tongue into Dana's belly button again. She is stopped after Wu comes into the house to intervene.

After Wu's experience, she and her child had been saved yet again from the Aswang.
