Die Zeit Totzuschlagen (dee TSITE TOTE-tsoo-shlah-gehn; Ger. "the time to kill") was a period in the late 19th century during which the Wesen Council reacted to an outbreak of the Woge Plague in Hungary.
Because the Ewig Woge compromised the security and well-being of the Wesen community, agents were dispatched to kill any Wesen exhibiting symptoms. During this time, the Grimm Soffya and the Wechselbalg who duplicated her were also hunted. ("The Killing Time")
