Randy told him he was at work at the Columbia Gorge Hotel and that he saw Nick come in, the detective who arrested Willard seven years ago for murder. Willard became incensed at the news, a brief ripple of a woge surging over him, before he asked his son if he was going to do what he was thinking. Randy confirmed he was going to use the Amor de Infierno, so Willard told him to double the dose, and Randy, wanting to make Nick pay for what he did, confidently replied he'd triple the dose. Willard then told him to call him when Nick was dead, but that call never came.

One of her strands of hair incidentally fell into a glass she kept from falling off of Randy's tray, creating an additional love potion, which Wu ended up drinking. The next morning, the potion having taken affect, Wu instantly felt a strong longing for Holly the instant he laid his eyes on her. She was at first flattered by Wu's advances, but as Wu persisted, she kept getting more and more annoyed, and eventually, more and more freaked out. When she rejected Wu, he told her he was going to kill himself and jump off a cliff. As she pleaded with him to stop, Randy came and grabbed Holly, threatening to kill her if Rosalee got any closer. Holly then passed out at the sight of Rosalee and Randy both woging.
