Ryan Gilko is a Stangebär that appeared in "Quill".

Gilko was driving his park ranger truck when he was unexpectedly rear ended. When he got out of his vehicle and approached Carl Stanton, the other driver, he noticed several lesions on his face and told him he would call for an ambulance. Stanton got out of his car, however, and started aggressively walking towards Gilko. Stanton was infected by the Yellow Plague, which he had apparently gotten from his wife's pigs. Stanton then charged and attacked Gilko in the middle of the street. While Gilko managed to defend himself satisfactorily, he sustained a small cut, through which the infection entered his body. He later manifested the symptoms, first hitting on an officer at the scene of the accident and itching his arms and neck. Later that night, he developed lesions.
The next day, he showed up for work but eventually succumbed to the rage state of the disease. In an uncontrollable rampage, Gilko attacked both Monroe and Rosalee out in the woods, scratching the latter and infecting her with the Plague. With his condition worsening, a deteriorating Gilko later stumbled across Nick and Hank and passed out. While he was unconscious, they took him to the spice shop for treatment. He recovered in the shop after Hank and Monroe had administered the cure that Monroe was able to make.
