He was allegedly hired to perform agricultural work by persons in a white van, but he was actually abducted by Geiers who wanted to harvest his internal organs. He and Kevin Standish escaped. Steven, who had had three-quarters of his blood removed, slipped and fell into a river. He drowned, and his body washed up on the bank of the river. Harper diagnosed his cause of death.
