Apgadnieks

A Malamute Wesen, the Apgadnieks is known for its intense blue eyes and sharp teeth. Like most canid Wesen, they aren't known for being the most trustworthy of creatures. Often using their abilities for less than noble purposes.

Barbatus Ossifrage

A vulture-like creature that preys on the mortally wounded. Attracted to the "Parfum de la Mort" or "smell of death", they often take their victim and drop them off a high cliff to break their bones. Then liquefies their bones for consumption or in some cases, to store and bring back to the "nest" to feed the family.

Fuilcré

An ancient ox-like Wesen that were among the first Wesen to cultivate the land. In times of drought or flood, they famously performed human sacrifice rituals. The Grimms put a stop to the rituals over 500 years ago... or did they?

Furis Rubian

The Furis Rubian's terrifying appearance is in no way indicative of its calm demeanor. They have been commonly mistaken for the Devil since the concept became part of popular consciousness in the dark ages. The Pope supposedly kept a few chained in the Vatican to cart off to the countryside and drum up support for the church.

Hasenfussige Schnecke

Universally regarded as one of the most unpleasant looking Wesen species, this slug-like creature isn't a threat to anything beyond the occasional fly.

Inugami

Like the samurai of feudal Japan, this white dog-like Wesen is often bound in servitude to a family. Called upon to avenge or protect in times of dire straights. They perform a ceremony where they bury their victim up to their neck, behead them, then place their head under a bridge. The intent is to leave their victim's soul in eternal peril.

Kackenkopf

A dung-beetle Wesen. They're shitty people.

Kitsune

Kitsunes are the Japanese equivalent of Fuchsbau, but with a bright white coloring to their fur when woged. Legend says that they are one of very few Wesen with a tail... nine of them to be exact.

Lycanthrope

Lycanthropia is a genetic mutation which presents itself in Blutbaden. It's transmitted as a recessive trait, which rarely affects the offspring. The condition turns the infected Blutbad temporarily insane during the three nights of the full moon. In the past, Blutbad families would kill infected children if they developed symptoms.

Musasat Alsh-Shabab

Khepera beetle Wesen are capable of piercing a human's face and removing proteins from their bodies, causing aging. They regurgitate the proteins to create an anti-aging concoction called "Yanbue." Hailing from Egypt, they are a very old species of Wesen who may have been treasured among the Ancient Egyptians and their youth obsessed leaders.

Primal Wu

The bite of a Lycanthrope will turn an average Blutbad into a Lycanthrope, a super Blutbad that goes into uncontrollable rage when the full moon is out. But when Wu (an average human) is bitten, it turns him into a more primal, Neanderthal form - Primal Wu.

Quijada Vil

A Gila monster-type Wesen, the Quijada Vil is a whole lot of power packed into a small frame. Appearing innocent in their human form, this Wesen has no problem lulling its victim into a false sense of security then using its razor sharp teeth to tear into them.

Riesen-Ratte

Only created under the most dire circumstances, the Rat King is not a single Wesen. Rather it is a giant rat creature created when a group of Reinigen combine to become more powerful. While woged, they can stimulate the growth of cancerous cells, which allows them to combine with other Reinigen to form a greater whole.

Uhranuti

A deadly falcon-like creature, the Uhranuti is known for its fierce nature and exceptional sight. Known to be loners and hired killers, if there is an Uhranuti in town, rest assured they are up to no good.

Ungeziefer Greifer

A weasel-like Wesen, the Ungeziefer Greifer are skittish creatures. Not renowned for their bravery or their trustworthiness, they more often than not live up to the negative reputation of their animal kingdom counterparts.

Vibora Dorada

An Aztec snake-like creature with gold scales and fearsome fangs that they use to deliver a dose of neurotoxin to their victim. Their toxin can be used to keep Wesen prey in their woged state. Many of them are practicing Santeros.

Wasser Zahne

Similar in build and appearance to the land dwelling Skalengeck, the Wasser Zahne sets itself apart with its webbed hands, gills, and signature head fin. It has been given many names. Most notably, the "Loch Ness Monster" or "Niseag." Sightings of the beast in the Loch Ness region of Scotland stretch back as far as the 7th century.

Weten Ogen

The Weten Ogen are a proud and old race of Wesen. They are driven by their respect for tradition and the memory of those that came before them. The Maagd Zoektocht (Maiden Quest) is their most cherished and honored tradition, it is a way to facilitate arranged marriages. They are both fierce and extremely cunning.

Zauberbiest

A male version of a Hexenbiest, they are both rare and extremely powerful beings. Throughout time, they have been found in many places and known by many names: warlocks, wizards, mages, and shamans. All of them are equally influential and terrifying.
