Karissa Lee Staples is an American actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder. She is best known for her role as Victoria Jagger in Family's What's Up Warthogs!. She also won the 2006 Miss Maine pageant.
Life and careerEdit
Staples was born December 1, 1987, in Biddeford, Maine. At the age of 14, she found her passion for music and theater, performing throughout Maine in community and professional productions. In 2006, a week before graduating high school, she was crowned Miss Maine in the Miss America beauty pageant. She competed again the following year which gave her the chance to earn a scholarship for college and to perform her talent on a national level. Through the connections she made through school, she ended up in New York City. Less than three months after arriving in there, she booked a principal role in the 2009 feature film Red Hook. Things didn't stop there, as she got the job of being the feature model for Laura Dahl's spring collection and was cast in the Broadway musical Hear Our Song.
In 2010, she landed a guest role on 90210 and provided the English dubbing in the video game The 3rd Birthday. In 2011, she landed her first starring role in the Canadian TV sitcom What's Up Warthogs! portraying the character of Victoria Jagger.
In 2013, she joined the cast of Necessary Roughness in the series' third season.
