Opening Quote: "Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are." - The Prince

Scene: Jonathon Wilde parks his motorcycle in front of a fortune teller's shop.

[Inside the shop, Mabel Kurlon instructs Anne Peyton on what's going to happen]
Mabel: Once he has begun, you must not at any time do anything that interferes with his communication. Connection with the spirit world is not easy to achieve and difficult to sustain if there are any distractions. Do you understand?
Anne: I do.
Mabel: If he is successful, if Laszlo finds your husband, there is no guarantee your husband will accept him. Spirits can be unpredictable, but if he finds union with his spirit, you will see him change into Fadó, an ancient holy spirit. Do not be frightened of this change. It is proof of his emergence. Are you ready?
Anne: I am.
Mabel: [She walks up to Laszlo] Laszlo, she is ready. Are you?
Laszlo: Of course.
Mabel: Laszlo is ready.
Anne: Okay.
Laszlo: [He sits down across from Anne and holds her hands] Say his name.
Anne: Louis.
Laszlo: What do you want to say to him?
Anne: I miss you, Louis. I miss you so much. It's so hard to keep going alone. [She gasps as Laszlo suddenly tightens his grip on her hands]
Laszlo: I feel his presence outside. He's coming in now. He's here with us.
Anne: Where? Where is he?
Laszlo: Ahh! [He quickly gets up and turns his back to Anne]
Anne: What's happening?
[Laszlo woges into a Coyotl and turns around]
Anne: Oh... oh...
Mabel: Don't be frightened by what you see.
[Anne whimpers]
Laszlo: [He sits back down] Anne, Louis is here beside you. Yes? Yes. He loves you and misses you, more than life itself. He thinks about you every moment of every dying day. He thinks about how you met at Colonel White High School. He's saying something about your hair. Does that mean anything to you?
Anne: Yes. Yes, he always liked it long.
Laszlo: He still does.
[Anne whimpers]
Laszlo: Louis, why do you have to leave? There's more to... ahh! [He stands up and falls to the ground. He then retracts as Mabel goes to help him up]
Anne: [She whimpers] He's gone? But why? Bring him back, please.
Laszlo: He had to go. Something was wrong. He said I could try again... [He sniffles] Tuesday.
Anne: I could feel my husband with me. It was so wonderful. Laszlo, I saw him change into Fadó. If I hadn't seen it, I wouldn't have believed it. Oh, wait. Let me... [She gives money to Mabel]
Mabel: It takes a lot out of him. He'll need a couple of days to recover. But now that he has made contact, it will be even better next time.
Anne: Tuesday, right?
Mabel: That's what he said.
Anne: Oh! Thank you. [She hugs Mabel] Thank you so much. [She leaves]
Mabel: Fifteen hundred. [She and Laszlo chuckle]
Laszlo: You could have gotten more. I was very good tonight.
Mabel: We'll get more. She's coming back.
Wilde: [Walking into the room] Too bad you won't be here.
Laszlo: Who are you?
Wilde: Doesn't matter.
Mabel: What do you want?
Wilde: Pictures. [He woges into a Manticore and uses his tail to stab Laszlo in the heart. Mabel tries to run away, but he grabs her and throws her across a table. She screams as he then stabs her with his tail. He retracts and takes a picture of the bodies]

Scene: Juliette talks with Henrietta.

Juliette: Henrietta, I need your help.
Henrietta: You do. Sean told me about your sudden change of life. That must have been very shocking.
Juliette: Well, how do I stop it, how do I make it go away?
Henrietta: Are you sure you want to, before you understand your true self?
Juliette: Yeah, I don't wanna understand my true self. I just want my old self.
Henrietta: Well, show me what you got.
Juliette: What do you mean?
Henrietta: Show me what you are.
Juliette: I don't know how.
Henrietta: How did you do it before?
Juliette: I don't know, it just happened.
Henrietta: Well, this has happened in a very unorthodox way, but until I see what we're dealing with here, I won't be able to help you.
Juliette: I'll try.
Henrietta: No, no, no, no. You're working too hard. Let me help you. [She woges into a Hexenbiest, which causes Juliette to woge too] Ahh, now we're talking.
Juliette: How do I stop it?
Henrietta: Relax. [She retracts] Let go. You have to let it happen, you can't make it happen.
Juliette: [She retracts] So can you help me?
Henrietta: Perhaps, but it's gonna be challenging. You have to practice your woge. Learn to control it. Right now, you're like a... A five-year-old with a loaded gun.
Juliette: I could hurt somebody.
Henrietta: Yes, of course. You now have access to a primal force of nature. Who else knows about this?
Juliette: Only Sean.
Henrietta: You haven't told the Grimm?
Juliette: No, I'm afraid to.
Henrietta: That's wise. Grimms are not known to be fond of Hexenbiests. His natural instinct would be to take your head off. I'm sure he loves you. You don't need to panic. I need a little bit of your blood.
Juliette: Why?
Henrietta: You want your true self back, don't you? [She puts a jar on Juliette's wrist]
Juliette: It's getting hot. It's really hot. Ow. [Blood comes out of her wrist and starts filling the jar]
Henrietta: Hold still. [Once she has enough blood, she takes the jar off of Juliette's wrist]
Juliette: What are you doing?
Henrietta: [She puts the blood into a flask] Seeing what you're made of. [She puts some powders and a liquid into the flask. She puts a cork on the flask and swirls it] It has to syncretize.
Juliette: How long will that take?
Henrietta: No telling. I'll call you when I have something to show you.
[Juliette looks at the flask and leaves as the contents in the flask continue to swirl]

Scene: Nick and Hank meet Wu outside the fortune teller's shop.

Wu: I think I've been here before.
Hank: You've had your fortune told?
Wu: Actually, I did, about 20 years ago at the Cleveland County Fair. I was supposed to be a rock star and rich. But that was in Ohio. However, now I happen to be talking about this MO here. It's the same as we had with that security firm, rather large stab wounds to the chest, the ones with scorpion venom. So thanks to my quality late-night, caffeine-fueled trailer time, I would suggest we're dealing with a Manticore or something similar.
[They walk inside the shop]
Nick: Who reported?
Wu: Landlord came by this morning to collect the rent. Instead... he found the bodies. Am I right?
Nick: Yep, looks like a Manticore.
Hank: Guess we can rule out robbery. Anything on the vics?
Wu: Mabel and Laszlo Kurlon from the Czech Republic, been in Portland just over a year and renting the shop for nine months.
Nick: How many ways in?
Wu: Two. Back door was unlocked. Front door was unlocked. Lights were still on. So whoever came in didn't have to work for it.
Hank: They just came in for the kill.
Wu: Maybe they got a bad fortune.
Nick: If the fortune-tellers were any good, they would have seen this coming.
Hank: Got an appointment book. Last appointment: last night, 7:30.
Nick: Got a name?
Hank: Well, if I could read it, starts with a P.
Wu: Let me work on it.
Nick: Where's the landlord?
Wu: I got him outside.
[Nick and Hank go talk to the landlord]
Landlord: They've been tenants for nine months. I've got all the receipts back at the office. They always paid on time in cash. I didn't demand that. I take checks. They they just wanted to pay in cash.
Nick: Were they married?
Landlord: They said they were. Nothing like this has ever happened at any of my properties. I saw the bodies. How the hell were they killed?
Hank: We're working on that.
Nick: Were they worried at all? Did they anything that they had problems with?
Landlord: Not to me. They-they always just seemed pretty normal, well, for what they did.
Hank: They ever tell your fortune? By that I mean did they ever tell you how they told fortunes?
Landlord: No, I'm not much on fortunes. I don't want to know, you know?
Nick: Did you ask for any references?
Landlord: I asked, but I never checked. I think they said they were in Reno before here.
Hank: We need you to put down all the references they told you.
Landlord: I can do that. [He walks away with an officer]
Wu: [He walks up] Looks like I got a match on Anne Peyton. Got an address in the southeast and a phone number to go with it. Could she be the Manticore?
Hank: She was the last one scheduled to see them.
Nick: If she is, she's not gonna make a move on three cops.

Scene: Renard gets an email notice from the Portland Airport Customs that Viktor, Adalind, and Rispoli arrived in Portland.

Scene: Nick, Hank, and Wu talk to Anne Peyton.

Anne: This my favorite picture of Louis and me. We were on vacation in Vermont. We were so happy. It was right before he was diagnosed.
Nick: Tell us what happened last night in the session.
Anne: Oh, it was amazing. I wasn't sure if I was just making a fool of myself or what, but a friend of mine went to them, and she said it was incredible. And that's why I went. And it was!
Nick: Did you see any physical changes?
Anne: Oh, yes. Yes, uh, Laszlo channeled this spirit called Fadó. I know how it sounds, but I swear it was real, I saw him change. His whole face, he was something completely different. It's, it's kind of hard to describe. He had fur, and he was sort of animal-like. You must think I'm crazy.
Hank: Who was in the room with you when it happened?
Anne: Just me and Laszlo and Mabel.
Nick: Now, you said Laszlo changed. Did Mabel change in any way?
Anne: Oh, no. They didn't do anything wrong. I communicated with my husband last night. I'm absolutely sure of it. I mean, they were worth every penny. I just-I can't believe that somebody would kill them. I wanted so badly to speak to my husband again. I'm sorry, it's just... it's been so lonely.

Scene: Jonathon Wilde sits in a motel room and sends his picture of Mabel and Laszlo's bodies to the Wesen Council.

[Alexander goes into De Groot's office]
De Groot: [On the phone, speaking Dutch] ...He'll wish he never brought it to a vote. [He hangs up] What have you got?
Alexander: Confirmation. Sent by Jonathon Wilde moments ago. [He hands De Groot the bounty for Mabel and Laszlo, as well as the photo Wilde sent]
De Groot: Mabel and Laszlo Kurlon. [He clicks his tongue] Numerous violations of Section 32.
Alexander: The outstanding warrant goes back four years. They eluded the Maréchaussée longer than most.
De Groot: They never learn, do they?
Alexander: The money's too easy, I'm afraid.
De Groot: Authorize payment.
Alexander: There's more.
De Groot: Hmm?
Alexander: Wilde is asking for another Eigenverantwortung.
De Groot: Authority to kill whom? [Alexander hands him a bounty] Mm. I'm afraid no one is going to miss you, Mr. Darwell.

Scene: Monroe and Rosalee arrive home from their honeymoon.

Monroe: Love to travel but glad to be home. Minus the unpacking and paying the bills part.
Rosalee: Don't forget the laundry, not much fun in that either.
Monroe: But we had such a great time.
Rosalee: Oh, we sure did. [She and Monroe kiss] Okay, back to reality.
Monroe: I wonder if I should call Nick, tell him we're back.
Rosalee: Hmm, that didn't take long.
Monroe: No, you know, just in case something, like, pertinent happened while we were gone.
Rosalee: Sure. Go ahead.
Monroe: You sure?
Rosalee: Actually, I'd kind of like to know too.
Monroe: Okay. [He checks his pockets for his phone and Rosalee hands him his bag]

Scene: Nick, Hank, and Wu talk to Renard in his office.

Renard: So the widow is not your Manticore.
Wu: Oh, she's not even Wesen, according to Nick.
Hank: But Laszlo had to be, and he wasn't hiding it; he was using it.
Nick: That's why she was so convinced he was talking to the dead. He woged.
Wu: Yeah, you see something like that, you'll believe anything.
Hank: The Manticore had to have shown up just after she left. The shop was still open, lights were still on, doors unlocked.
Renard: So if we have a Manticore that going to a Wesen for a fortune, the woge is not gonna work.
Hank: He'd know he was being scammed.
Wu: Sounds like motive. He was pissed.
Nick: [His phone rings] Unless it's a Wesen Council thing.
Wu: A what?
Hank: Not everything's in the books.
Nick: [He answers his phone] Monroe, you back?
Monroe: Yeah, just got in. We had an awesome time, but, you know, glad to be back.
Nick: Great.
Monroe: Yeah, no, just checking in and—
Nick: Can Hank and I come by? We need your help.
Monroe: What, now?
Nick: If you're not too busy.
Monroe: Uh... no, we're not so busy right now.
Nick: Great. We're on our way.
Monroe: Yeah, okay, well, see you. [He hangs up]
Rosalee: Nick and Juliette coming over?
Monroe: More like Nick and Hank.
Rosalee: [She sighs] That didn't take long.

Scene: Adalind, Viktor, and Rispoli arrive at their suite.

Viktor: It's no castle.
Adalind: It's no dungeon either.
Viktor: Aren't we glad to be done with all that?
Adalind: I may never forgive you.
Viktor: Perhaps this will help you. [He opens up a closet full of new clothes, shoes, and more] Reconciliation.
Adalind: You did all this for me?
Viktor: Why wouldn't I? We're in this together, aren't we?
Adalind: How do you mean that?
Viktor: Simmer down. I have my own bedroom.
Adalind: Well, this is all very beautiful, but when do we get serious?
Viktor: Don't make the mistake of thinking we're not. We did not come all this way again to go back empty-handed.
Adalind: No, we did not.
[Viktor goes over to Rispoli]
Rispoli: [He finishes checking something on his phone and puts it away in his suit jacket] I suggest we start meeting with our people sometime tomorrow. They're anxious to get going.
[Knock at the door]
Viktor: Tomorrow will be fine. Not b- [He stops Rispoli from going to answer the door] Let me.
Rispoli: Sir.
Viktor: Oh, come on. I never get to open the doors in my own home. It will be a thrill. [He answers the door] Cousin Sean. I didn't expect you so soon.
Renard: [He walks in] I didn't expect you so soon either.
Viktor: Do come in.
Renard: This is familiar. Reminds me of when my brother Eric came to town. Did you, um, ever find his killer?
Viktor: Not yet, but we haven't given up. We believe it's a man named Meisner. Perhaps you know him.
Renard: Where's Adalind?
Adalind: Here. [She walks up]
Renard: I didn't think you'd ever come back.
Adalind: I didn't think you'd steal our baby.
Viktor: Before this becomes a domestic, shall we put the past aside and discuss the future?
Renard: The last time you were in town, you threatened to kill me and my mother. Now, that's a little hard to put aside.
Viktor: Heat of the moment, things get said. But I'm not here for revenge. I underestimated you and I regret that mistake.
Renard: I don't have the child.
Adalind: You gave her to Nick's mother! That's a little hard to put aside too.
Renard: I gave her to the one person I thought would protect her.
Viktor: I wonder what the Resistance would say if they knew you'd betrayed them.
Renard: But they do know, and I'll tell you what I told them. I don't know where the child is, and I have no way of finding out.
Viktor: No. [He stops Adalind from walking up to Renard] We're going to remain civil. At least for a little while. You're the captain of a police department. You have means at your disposal. I suggest you make use of them. We're not leaving without the child. You may not like it, but you're part of the family. Mistreated though you were, you still have the blood.
Renard: Hasn't exactly been thicker than water, has it?
Viktor: No family is perfect. But those that wanted you dead are dead. And it's time you think about your relationship with this family as it is now, not as it was then.
Renard: Welcome to Portland. [He leaves]
Viktor: Well, we've broken the ice. Let's have lunch.
[Adalind sighs]

Scene: Nick, Hank, and Wu arrive at Monroe and Rosalee's house.

Monroe: It's like we never left.
Nick: Welcome back! [He hugs Rosalee]
Hank: Good to have you two back.
Wu: Portland wasn't the same without you.
Rosalee: Oh.
Wu: Welcome back.
Rosalee: Thank you.
Monroe: How are you with all this?
Wu: I'm getting through it.
Rosalee: So, what do you got?
Nick: Manticore.
Monroe: Another one?
Wu: That's what I said.
Monroe: I mean, they're just about impossible to kill.
Nick: This one killed two people last night.
Hank: We also think the vics were Wesen.
Monroe: But you don't know for sure?
Wu: Well, they were dead.
Nick: They were fortune-tellers. We interviewed their last client, and she described what sounded like a woge.
Rosalee: During the fortune-telling?
Hank: Yeah.
Rosalee: Then my guess is, they were breaking Council law.
Monroe: Oh, boy.
Nick: So this could have been a sanctioned hit.
Rosalee: If they were on a list.
Wu: List? There's a list?
Rosalee: The Council keeps records of Wesen who violate Council Law. Sometimes they send out their own people, like Alexander. Sometimes they use Maréchaussée.
Monroe: Maréchaussée are only in it for the money. I mean, strictly mercenary. They're basically bounty hunters.
Hank: Wesen bounty hunters?
Monroe: Yeah. Big money. Not much of a health plan, but—
Rosalee: Nick, if this is Wesen Council, I'd just stay out of it.
Nick: As a Grimm, maybe, but not as a cop.
Rosalee: Well, at least let me see what I can find out from the Council.

Scene: Juliette is making dinner when she reaches for the salt shaker and it flies into her hand.

Juliette: Whoa. [She tries to do the same thing with the pepper mill, but before she can do it, Nick arrives home]
Nick: Juliette.
Juliette: Yeah. [She quickly turns around and the pepper mill hits her in the back of her head] Ow. [She turns around and sees the pepper mill on the floor]
Nick: [Coming into the kitchen] What happened?
Juliette: I hit my head.
Nick: Oh, I'm sorry. On what?
Juliette: The stupid pepper mill.
Nick: [He picks up the pepper mill off of the floor] You hit your head on the pepper mill?
Juliette: Yeah, I dropped the fork, and then I bent over to pick it up and hit the side of the stove, and it fell on my head.
Nick: Ooh. It's quite a bump.
Juliette: Yeah. It will be okay.

Scene: Tammy runs up to Casey Darwell.

Tammy: Casey, talk to me! Casey! I can't do this anymore.
Casey: Oh, what, you don't love me?
Tammy: Don't say that, Casey.
Casey: Oh, this is interesting. Now you're telling me what to say?
Tammy: It's not like that. I'm just so tired of- ahh!
Casey: [He pins her up against a door and woges into a Blutbad] You know what I can do to you?
Tammy: [Crying] Yes, yes, please...
Casey: You still tired?
Tammy: No, no, I'll work. I'll do whatever you say. [She sobs]
Casey: [He retracts] You're gonna work twice as hard tonight and prove it. [His phone rings as Tammy walks away, sobbing. He answers] Yeah, baby. See, I got two hot ones you're gonna love to love.
Wilde: [From behind] Hey.
Casey: [To the caller] Yo, hang on. [To Wilde] Hey, big man, you looking for a good time?
Wilde: No, I'm working.
Casey: Then quit wasting my time. [To the caller] Some weirdo in the alleyway. [Wilde takes his phone and throws it onto the ground] Hey! Yo, what the hell's the matter with you?
[Wilde woges and kills Casey. He then takes a picture of Casey's body]

Scene: Rosalee calls the Wesen Council.

Man: Rosalee Calvert, your identity is confirmed. What are you reporting?
Rosalee: I'm not actually reporting anything. I have a question about two Wesen deaths in Portland last night. Were they sanctioned by the Council? Is there a Maréchaussée in Portland?
Man: The Council will review your request. [He hangs up]
Monroe: What did they say?
Rosalee: Not much. They said they'll review my request.
Monroe: I'm thinking maybe we shouldn't have asked that.
Rosalee: I guess we're gonna find out.

Scene: Nick and Hank look up information on Mabel and Laszlo at the precinct.

Hank: Looks like our vics were living pretty much off the grid: no bank accounts, no tax returns.
Nick: Can't find a vehicle registration or driver's license for either one.
Hank: Sounds like people who don't want to be found to me.
Nick: Well, except their bounty hunter did.
Renard: [He walks by] I need to see you both.
Hank: [He and Nick go to Renard's office] We got a problem?
Renard: We do. My cousin Viktor is back in town with Adalind.
Nick: You've seen them?
Renard: I have. They know about your mother and that we gave my child to her.
Hank: So they think we know where she is.
Renard: I don't think they care whether we do or not. But they made it very clear they're not leaving without Diana, so I suggest you tell Juliette and watch your backs. I don't know when or where, but they will make a move.
[Nick and Hank leave Renard's office]

Scene: Juliette treats a dog at work.

Client: How long is Henry gonna have to keep this on?
Juliette: Until the stitches are out and completely healed. I'm sorry, Henry, but that's the way it's got to be until you're feeling better. These are his meds. It's gonna be one a day, preferably at night.
Client: Thanks.
Juliette: All right, big boy, you're all done. Okay. [She puts the dog on the floor] Bye.
[The client and her dog leave]
Juliette: [Her phone rings and she answers] Nick, you home?
Nick: Uh, no, still at work.
Juliette: Yeah, me too. I'm almost done though. You want me to pick up some food?
Nick: Juliette, Adalind is back in Portland.
Juliette: What?
Nick: Yeah, the Captain just told me. You need to be careful. Give me a half hour. I want to get home before you do.
Juliette: Okay. [She hangs up and angrily woges, causing dogs to bark]

Scene: Nick arrives home.

Nick: Juliette? [He sends an email to his mom to tell her the Royals and Adalind are in town, and that they know she has Diana]
[Juliette arrives home]
Nick: [He prepares to draw his gun after he hears someone enter and sighs in relief when he sees it's Juliette who has come home] You all right?
Juliette: No, not with Adalind back.
Nick: She's in town with Viktor. They know my mom has Diana.
Juliette: We have to warn her.
Nick: I just sent her an email. I don't know if she'll get it or—
Juliette: If Adalind tries anything, I swear to God I will rip her throat out.
Nick: Well, that might be a little easier said than done. She is a Hexenbiest.
Juliette: I know what she is.
Nick: [The computer chimes to signal he's received an email] It's from my mom. "Got your message."
Juliette: There's an attachment.
[Nick opens the attachment, which is a picture of Diana]
Juliette: Oh, my God. That's Diana. She's beautiful. She looks so happy.
Nick: Yeah, my mom's getting a chance to be a mom again.
[The email and photo get deleted]
Nick: [His phone rings and he answers] Yeah. I just got home. Yeah, I can be there in ten minutes. I'm sorry. I got to go. You gonna be okay?
Juliette: I'll be fine.
Nick: You know, be careful. [He leaves]

Scene: The Council calls Rosalee back.

Monroe: [Answering the phone] Hello.
Man: Rosalee Calvert.
Monroe: Uh, yeah, she's-she's right here. [Whispering] It's them, I think, the Council. [He sighs as he hands Rosalee the phone]
Rosalee: This is Rosalee Calvert.
Man: The Council has determined that you shall take no further action with regard to your inquiry. The Council is aware of your relationship with the Grimm, who has interfered with the Council on numerous occasions; therefore, you are advised not to assist him in any way. If there is any violation, penalties will be imposed. There will be no further communication on this subject. [He hangs up]

Scene: Wilde sends the photo of Casey Darwell's body to the Council.

Scene: Wu leads Nick and Hank to Casey's body.

Wu: Got a pretty significant record, if you're interested, but it's mostly vice stuff, started pimping about six years ago, based on his first pandering charge. Not sure who that belongs to yet. [Looking at the phone on the ground]
Nick: Run the numbers, check for prints.
Hank: I guess our bounty hunter hasn't left town.
Wu: One of his girls was working the corner. She witnessed the attack. Found her hiding behind a dumpster pretty freaked out. Not sure she's gonna be much help. She is positive she just saw the devil in the flesh.
[Nick's phone rings]
Hank: Not that far from the truth.
Nick: [He answers his phone] Rosalee.
Rosalee: We just heard back from the Council.
Monroe: It's not good, dude.
Nick: What did they say?
Rosalee: They basically told us to stay out of their business.
Monroe: Like, totally out of it, including not helping you.
Rosalee: And they said there would be penalties if we didn't comply.
Nick: So the Council sanctioned the kills.
Monroe: Whatever. Suffice it to say they know what's going on.
Nick: Well, we've got another body.
Rosalee: Oh, God, Nick.
Nick: If this is a Wesen bounty hunter, he's still working. Look, you two stay out of this. Let us deal with it. And I'm sorry; I know this isn't a nice way to come back from a honeymoon.
Monroe: Nick, seriously, you don't want to piss off the Wesen Council, not any more than you already have. Can't you find somebody else to handle this one?
Nick: Well, you know that's not gonna happen.
Monroe: I do. I do know that. Be on your guard, okay?
Rosalee: If they're using a Maréchaussée, killing is their business. He's not gonna let you arrest him.
Monroe: So just be careful, Nick.
Nick: Yeah. [He hangs up]

Scene: Alexander goes into De Groot's office.

De Groot: We have a determination on Nicholas Burkhardt?
Alexander: Apparently. [He hands De Groot a note]
[De Groot sighs as he reads the note]
Alexander: What have they decided?
De Groot: They decided he's interfered once too often.
Alexander: Do you agree with this decision?
De Groot: Unfortunately, no one is interested in my opinion.
Alexander: They're making a mistake.
De Groot: No one is interested in your opinion either. [He makes a call]

Scene: Wilde is watching TV in his motel room when his tablet chimes.

[Wilde checks his email and sees that he was sent a bounty for Nick]

Scene: Hank reads the toxicity report for the recent murder victims.

Hank: Toxicity report concludes the victims died from an excessive dose of neurotoxins and enzyme inhibitors associated with the family Buthidae, the closest match being...
Nick: Scorpion venom.
Hank: We definitely got ourselves a Manticore.
Wu: [He walks up] Gentlemen, we have hit a little pay dirt: not one but two clear prints, one not belonging to the owner of the cell phone. And we were able to get a match: Mr. Jonathon Wilde from Archer City, Texas, two arrests, one for murder, [He hands Nick Wilde's folder] identified by witnesses, but charges were dropped due to lack of evidence and no known association with his victims.
Hank: How did the victim die?
Wu: Neurotoxins and enzyme inhibitors associated with—
Hank: Scorpions.
Nick: Okay, we've got our guy. What do we know?
Wu: Well, I did a little looking into this type of hit and pulled up half a dozen scattered from Bangor, Maine, to San Diego, California, all unsolved, but I did manage to find motor vehicles registered to Wilde: one for a motorcycle, one for a truck, APBs on both.
Nick: Make sure it goes wide in case he's on his way back to Texas.
Wu: Yep.
Hank: At least this time we've got prints tying him to the scene.

Scene: An officer spots Wilde's motorcycle parked at Wilde's motel.

Scene: Renard meets with Sam Damerov.

Renard: This is everything I know about Kelly Burkhardt. Only photos of her are over 20 years old. There is no driver's license or passport in her name. And the last documentation is of her death.
Damerov: But she's still alive.
Renard: Very much so. She was last seen driving a 2008 Ford F-250 Crew Cab, Oregon DOV 412, registered to Juliette Silverton.
Damerov: Burkhardt could be a long way away by now.
Renard: I'm sure that's what she'd like us to think. Well, then, my gut feeling is that she's close by. She's got a six-month-old girl with her.
Damerov: If I find them, how do you want me to handle it?
Renard: Just tell me where she is. I don't want her to know she's been found.
Damerov: See what I can do.
Renard: Just watch your moves. There's a lot of other interest in the same subject matter. Oh, and, Sam, one more thing you should know.
Damerov: What?
Renard: She's a Grimm.
Damerov: Good to know. [He leaves]
[The scene shifts to Nick on the phone at his desk]
Nick: We got a match on the motorcycle. Did you check room registration? Okay, stay put. Do not engage the suspect unless he tries to leave. Consider him armed and dangerous. [He hangs up] They got a match on Wilde's motorcycle. He's at the Beacon Motel, room 12.
Hank: We won't know if it's our guy until you make him woge.
Nick: Oh, I'll make him woge.

Scene: The cork pops off the top of the flask at Henrietta's house as foam oozes out.

[Henrietta goes downstairs and looks at the flask]

Scene: Nick, Hank, and Wu burst into Wilde's motel room to arrest him.

Wu: Down on the ground now! On the ground!
Hank: You're under arrest for murder. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you-
Nick: You killed three people.
Hank: -in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. [He puts handcuffs on Wilde]
Wilde: What are you doing? I didn't do anything.
Nick: You're a Manticore.
Wilde: What? What are you talking about? [He is slammed against a wall by Nick] Oh!
Hank: Did he woge?
Nick: Not yet! [He slams Wilde again]
Wu: Nick!
Wilde: [He is slammed by Nick again] Why are you doing this?
Nick: I know what you are.
Hank: Hey, Nick! That's enough! [He stops Nick from slamming Wilde again] He's under arrest. We're taking him in.

Scene: Nick, Hank, and Wu look at Wilde as he sits in an interrogation room.

Wu: [He exhales] What if he's the wrong guy? What if he's not the Manticore?
Nick: He is the Manticore.
Hank: Then why didn't he woge? He doesn't know you're a Grimm.
Nick: He's a professional. He's smart. I'll get him to woge. [He leaves to go interrogate Wilde]
Wu: Has this ever happened before?
Hank: Not that I know of.
Wu: What if he's wrong this time? All we've really got is one fingerprint. That doesn't prove he's the Manticore.
Hank: I better go in there. [He leaves as Nick goes into the room]
Nick: We have your fingerprint, puts you at the scene of the crime.
Wilde: What scene of the crime?
Nick: How much was he worth? Huh? How much did you get paid?
Wilde: I didn't get paid anything!
[Hank comes into the room]
Wilde: All right, look, I paid for a hooker tonight if that's what this is about, but I didn't kill anybody!
Nick: You kill people for a living. You're a bounty hunter, a Maréchaussée, and you work for the Wesen Council.
Wilde: What are you talking about, man? You're crazy!
Hank: Nick! [He puts his hand on Nick's chest to calm him down] Let's just lock him up.
Wilde: I didn't do anything wrong!

Scene: Wilde is put into a jail cell.

Wilde: This isn't right. I'm innocent. You're making a mistake.
Nick: Do not go near this guy under any circumstances. You understand?
Jailer: Yes, sir.
[Nick and Hank head back towards their desks]
Hank: We can only hold him so long. We have to figure out how we're gonna charge him if you're sure he's the right guy.
Nick: I don't know.
Wu: [He walks up] I just cracked Wilde's iPad. You got to see this. [He shows Nick and Hank the bounties for, and images of the bodies of Mabel, Laszlo, and Casey]
Hank: That puts him at the crime scenes. That may be all we need.
Wu: Hold on. You got to see this. [He shows them the bounty for Nick] That's why he didn't woge. He knows who you are.

Scene: Wilde pretends to cry.

Jailer: You're crying? Seriously?
Wilde: I don't feel so good.
Jailer: Well, let me get you some warm milk.
[Wilde woges and stabs the jailer with his tail, before pulling the jailer towards the cell to take his keys]

Scene: Juliette practices her woge.

Juliette: [She looks at herself in her bedroom mirror] All right, relax. [She woges] Eww, so ugly. [Her phone rings and she retracts. She then answers her phone] Henrietta? Now? [Henrietta hangs up on her] Guess that's a now. [She grabs her coat and leaves]

Scene: Juliette meets with Henrietta.

Henrietta: [Looking at a deep hole where the flask was] I've never seen anything like this before. I'm not sure how deep it goes or if it even stopped.
Juliette: What is it?
Henrietta: It's what happens when the syncretization doesn't syncretize.
Juliette: What did this?
Henrietta: You. This is how powerful you are.
Juliette: No, I said I didn't want this.
Henrietta: You don't have a choice.
Juliette: What?
Henrietta: You are what you are now.
Juliette: No, no.
Henrietta: And there's nothing we can do to change that. I know this is not what you want to hear.
Juliette: Not what I want to hear? Are you kidding? [She woges and the house starts to shake]
Henrietta: [She slaps Juliette, causing her to retract, and stopping the shaking] You must learn to control yourself! Now, don't forget, they used to burn witches at the stake.
Juliette: So this is what I am now, forever?
Henrietta: There's nothing anyone can do to change that, Juliette. You have to learn to live with it.
Juliette: No. No! [She leaves]

Scene: Nick and Hank take Wilde's tablet to Renard.

Renard: Photographs don't prove he killed anybody.
Nick: Well, they prove he was at both crime scenes.
Renard: I'm not sure that matters, Nick. Can't get a conviction on a Manticore.
Hank: I'm more worried about the Wesen Council putting a hit on Nick.
Wu: [He knocks on the door and comes in] Suspect got out.
[They all go to Wilde's cell, where they find the jailer's body]
Renard: He'll be coming after you, Nick.
Nick: I'm going home. Juliette's there.
[The scene shifts to Juliette arriving home as Nick calls, and she answers her phone]
Juliette: Nick, I really need to talk to you.
Nick: There's a guy after me. He probably won't come to the house, but I'm not taking any chances. I'm on my way home.
Juliette: Okay, the doors are locked. I'll get my gun. [Wilde comes up behind her and takes the phone] Aah!
Wilde: If you want to see her alive, come alone. [He throws Juliette's phone to the ground]
Nick: Juliette? Juliette!
Juliette: Get out.
Wilde: I'm not here for you. Behave yourself, and you won't get hurt.
Juliette: I said get the hell out.
Wilde: This is my business. Stay out of it. [Juliette grabs a fireplace poker and tries to hit him, but he grabs her arm] I warned you. [He smacks Juliette in the face] Maybe you're right. Maybe he should come home and find you dead. [He woges]
Juliette: Oh, my God! [She squeezes her eyes shut]
Wilde: Easier to kill a Grimm when he's emotional. [He tries to strike Juliette with his tail, but she telekinetically stops it]
Juliette: [Woged] Maybe he should come home and find you dead! [She telekinetically turns Wilde's stinger towards him. She then grabs the stinger and stabs Wilde with it, killing him, despite his best efforts to stop her. She and Wilde both retract]
Nick: [He soon arrives home] Juliette! Where is he?
[Juliette nods her head towards Wilde]
Nick: What the hell happened?
Juliette: He missed.
[Nick sighs]
Juliette: I was lucky.
Nick: I am so sorry. Look, this never should have happened. And I swear to God, it's never gonna happen again.
Juliette: You can't protect me, Nick. That's something I'm gonna have to do for myself.
[Nick looks at Wilde's body lying on the floor]

Scene: Alexander knocks on De Groot's office door.

De Groot: Come in.
[Alexander goes in]
De Groot: You've heard from our bounty hunter?
Alexander: Yes.
De Groot: The Grimm is dead?
Alexander: Not exactly. [He hands De Groot a photo of Wilde's body]
De Groot: Well, I hope the Council doesn't take this personally.
Alexander: Or the Grimm.
