Matt McTighe is a professional actor and writer residing in Burbank, CA, with his wife, Jessica. A member of Screen Actors Guild, American Federation of Television & Radio Artists, and Actors Equity Association, he has been seen guest starring and recurring on many hit television shows and appearing in multiple films. He has worked opposite the likes of Gary Sinise, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Anthony LaPaglia, Woodie Harrelson, William Petersen, Mark Harmon, Kyra Sedgwick, Angie Harmon, Maria Bello, Eric McCormack, Tom Cavanaugh, and many others.

On stage, he has performed with regional theaters nationwide, including three seasons with the Tony-Award winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival. As a current member of Pacific Resident Theater Company in Venice, McTighe's portrayal of Tom in their 8 month run of William Saroyan's The Time of Your Life was described as "beautifully nuanced" by the LA Times and the production was nominated for "Best Revival" by the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle. He was also seen as the infamous Irish thug Kevin MaGee on Los Angeles's famed Geffen Playhouse stage in Tracy Letts' Superior Donuts, directed by Geffen Artistic Director Randall Arney and co-starring Gary Cole, Kathryn Joosten, and Edi Gathegi. McTighe was also the west coast winner of the coveted KC-ACTF Irene Ryan Acting Competition Award where his performance was taken to the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
