A Mauvais Dentes (MO-vay don; Fr. mauvais "bad" + dents "teeth") is a saber-toothed tiger-like Wesen that is smart, swift and deadly. One appeared in "Bad Teeth" and in "The Kiss".
Appearances
"Bad Teeth"
Marnassier was a stowaway on a GQR freighter, where he hid in one of the crates. When the ship's guards enter the crate to investigate the sounds they heard, they find the mutilated remains of multiple other stowaways and German words written in blood on the walls, along with a painted scythe. Marnassier then attacks the guards from his hiding spot above them, viciously ripping them apart and exiting the ship.
When Nick and his mother, Kelly, go through the Grimm diaries and later find puncture marks in the bodies of the guards, Kelly concludes that the killer is a Mauvais Dentes.
Marnassier later lures the two FBI agents investigating the murders to an abandoned warehouse, where he woges in front of them and attacks them, killing one agent and forcing the other to call Nick before killing her as well.
Nick and Kelly arrive at the warehouse, with Nick entering the building and Kelly finding another way in. While Nick is looking around for Marnassier, the Mauvias Dentes suddenly appears behind him, teeth and claws bared, taking Nick by surprise.
"The Kiss"
Marnassier tries to attack Nick, who grabs his gun and forces the Mauvais Dentes to retreat. They then enter a melee fight, when Kelly takes the creature by surprise and flanks him from the side, forcing Marnassier into a choke hold with a knife to his neck. When Kelly begins to question Marnassier, he tries to attack her and is stabbed in the neck by her knife. Marnassier leaps up into the rafters, bleeds out and falls to the ground, dead.
Characteristics

They are incredibly strong creatures, able to casually overpower grown men; one was able to kill three men at once, and was later shown to be capable of holding its own against two Grimms for a short time. They are also highly agile, fast and stealthy, and have razor sharp teeth and claws which they use to kill. When they kill they lacerate their victims, and bite their necks. They are also very durable, one was able to take multiple punches to the head, without reacting. However, like many Wesen, they are weaker in their human form.
Mauvais Dentes do eat humans, or rather parts of them, as evidenced by Marnassier's behavior aboard a cargo ship. It is unknown if human flesh is part of their necessary diet, or if this is simply a bloodthirsty habit.
Behavior
There aren't many left in the world, but based on the Grimm ancestry, they are vicious killing machines, with the ability to wipe out an entire village single-handedly. They have a reputation for baiting their victims before killing them, enjoying tricking and deceiving their opponents, much like cats. Like Hundjäger, Mauvais Dentes have no qualms endangering innocent bystanders if that would bring them much closer to the designated targets. According to Kelly Burkhardt, the Seven Royal Families are the only people powerful enough to have Mauvais Dentes working for them.
