Trivia
In October 2013, the Portland PD issued new dark blue uniforms to replace the old two-tone uniforms, and launched a new test program which would have police driving smart cars, with Crown Victorias serving as unmarked cars. Nick and Hank, of course, are the unfortunate guinea pigs of this pilot program. ("The Icy Touch") This new program hasn't been reflected in the television series, however.
