Schneetmacher (SHNAYT-maakh-ər; Grimm: SHNEET-maak-ər; Germ. prob. from Schnee "snow" and schneien "to snow" + Macher "doer"; sing. = pl. or Germ. prob. from Schnitt "cut" and Macher "doer"; sing. = pl.) is a term used to describe a generally evil Wesen. The term was first used on the NBC website and was used several weeks later by Monroe in "Tarantella".
Schneetmacher are generally disliked by Wieder Wesen and Grimms alike. ("Tarantella") ("The Kiss")
The official Grimm website lists the translation of the name from German as "cold-hearted"
