Feasting ritual
A feasting ritual is held every several years. Each is separated from the previous by a number of years, at least twenty or so. The ritual last for a month, and the Chef, a specially appointed member, is responsible for preparing each meal. The final days are called Empty Chair days. Meals are prepared from uninvited guests. Additional kidnappings may take place to provide when needed.
