Flynn and Roth were tricked by a Steinadler named Farley Kolt into shooting each other, and he returned to their hideout to find Kolt waiting. After being interrogated by Kolt, the cops arrive, but he escapes, killing Officer Brenner. He also kidnaps Harper in an effort to locate the coins. Marquesa stole Brenner's uniform to be able to watch Renard and pursue him to get the coins, but eventually when trying to take them he was shot and killed by Hank Griffin. With his dying breath, he asked to see the coins one more time.
