Hello everyone! I am a huge fan of Grimm and have been wanting to post my thoughts. Someone posted about Kelly and Juliette working together. Would love this to be true--but the Royals killing all the innocent neighbors doesn't add up, if the former is true. I wish it was. I'm been "binge" watching past episodes of the show to get a better idea of how Juliette has gone to the dark side. There are a few instances. I have liked her character at times and thought she was a bore at others throughout the history of the show. I admired her that she #1. was a Vet and #2. she was bi-lingual--& helped Nick with Spanish translations, etc. My point--she had a life before Nick. She's always been there for Nick, always supportive, especially when he wanted to become a Grimm again. But Juliette becoming a Hexenbeast--that's really too much for him to handle. One of the scenes when she says "You cannot even look at me..." That tells a lot. Henrietta was intelligent enough to tell Nick, "She accepted you for being a Grimm. Now it's your turn: kill her or accept her. " That is spot-on.
I feel, deep down, that Juliette felt she never "measured up" to or with everyone else and all their powers. She's felt like a third wheel, deep down. That's why, plus being so confused and scared, she turned to Sean to help her with her new powers--and did not tell Nick first.
Now, after having re-watched all the episodes this year, I understand Juliette's decent into the darkness. I have hayed her for burning down the trailer. And if Kelly is really dead, which I hope is not the case, then how can Juliette ever redeem herself.
As for Adeline--UGH, have always hated her. The actress is great and I love her facial expressions, but she's always been a selfish witch and only cares about herself. Case in point: when the guys announced Juliette had "burned the trailer down," Adeline's expression was one of "oh, you're out of cookies? Darn?" Not, "I am so sorry Nick for your loss..." Adeline will side with whoever is helping her out or to get what she wants. Maybe she has softened a little but deep down, it's the same old Hexenbiest. (even with her powers subdued for now.)
I don't know what Friday's season finale will bring. But, I think the only way for Juliette to redeem herself is to sacrifice herself to save someone else. She sacrifices herself to save....____________? I do think Trubel--and love her!--wish she had more screen time on "Headache"-- will shoot Juliette with one of the crossbows to knock her out, not kill her.
Happy watching!
