The X-Files is a popular television show about two FBI agents investigating strange phenomenons, including UFOs.
OH!

Ah. So "SMS" is texting? I didn't remember hearing it called that...it's always been called "texting" for as long as I remember. :)
"Handy"...?
I haven't heard of that one either. Heh. :)

So I'm thinking that in the Grimm universe...there are those in the US government that are aware of Wesen, as well.
WiB, I told ya XDD But yes, I agree, there's probably a 'semi-official' division within the FBI or a similar organiation. Why pops 'X-Files' into my head? ;-))
Heh...yep, Wesen in Black.
And one of the show-runners, David Greenwalt, was a writer/producer on the 'X-Files' show...and also on 'Eureka', which was about a super-secret town full of scientists working for the government.
They have said that this next season will be a "Reboot", which could mean anything, really.
But given the show-runners background, and how they have said that the final scene with Chavez..."tees up what is to come"...I'm thinking that we may see more of Chavez.
I hope so!
@ lurken frau
Germans call cell phone handy...-we call mobile-
i think Chavez Group is also added to film, as wesencouncil, verrat and royals are added. she and her team are not going anywhere!
@Lurkenfrau and Wölfchen - I don't know who brought up the name 'handy'. It's kind of a belittlement of 'Hand-held' I think. They are called Mobiltelefone for real, but colloquial is just saying 'handy' ^^ I know it's... maybe a little strange for non-germans, but so are a lot of terms the other way round XDD
BtT - If they're really going after the keys/the treasure, maybe a nationwide Organisation is a good startingpoint for a grimm looking for vengeance and a way to pick a bone with the royals. So, if it's really a 'reboot', maybe Nick is gonna join the 'FBI' (or whatever) temporarly for a joined operation...
Leaving Portland for a while is probably what Nick's needing at the moment anyway...
The US government has known about the Grimms, Wessen and The Royals for a very long time, dating as far back as the founding of the USA. If you are thinking about how is this possible, you are probably thinking as someone from this universe. Approach this as someone with the knowledge of Wessen lore from their world. The colonist who moved from the Old World to the Americas would have a number of Wessen amongst them, fleeing from persecutions (either from Grimms or the Royals). For all we know, in the world of Grimm, several of the Founding Fathers may be Wessen. Then it wouldn 't be improbable for the US government in Grimm to have a Branch that handle Wessen affairs or artifacts associated with the Wessen. When talking about the world of Grimm you have to try to see things in their perspective.
The Agency is probably up to here with the Royals incursion on US soil. They'll probably act soon. The Agency was ok with them with their little attempts in Portland. But finding out that they (the Royals) had an Agent inside wouldnt sit well with them. Its kinda like how France felt when they found out the US was spying on them (you know like, We Both had an Agreement but damn you for snooping around).

You mean Weston Steward?
Yeah...and he's probably not the only one, either.

Yeah, but France had been spying on the US long before the US was spying on them.
And after the French nationalized their Aviation and Telecommunications industries...French spies began spying on our US private companies, giving our trade secrets to their government-owned businesses.
There was a big scandal about this, about 25 years ago.

I just think they all shouldn't act so innocent and surprised... there always have been and always will be espionage. And anyone believing there isn't... fell into a rabbit hole XDD
Yep. Exactly.
The US is still a 'young' country...and sort of a novice at spying.
Countries have been spying on each other long before the US existed.
