We have several characters in different episodes who we are calling Wesen that I have begun to wonder about.

The first is Mr. Burgess from Of Mouse and Man. We never actually see him morph. Actually he's dead when the episode begins. I re-watched carefully, thinking that when Martin Burgess sees his father in other people that it would be in Mauzhertz form, but the elder Burgess seems to be in human form. Specifically, no whiskers. When "seen," he resembles his dead self and Wesen "go human" when they die. The elder Burgess, if a Mauzhertz, is the most unmeek Mauzhertz on record, not counting Marty. If he was like any or all of people and Wesen Marty came to hate, he would have been out of type.

The second is Boy No 1 from Tarantella, the one on Nick's left during the egging incident. The second boy morphs but boy No 1 does not. Is he all human? Do the Eisbibers live in a "mixed" neighborhood where some are Wesen and some are human? Is it possible for one sibling to be Wesen and the other human? (We don't know that the two boys are related, of course.)

The last is Reynaldo from Big Feet. He talks with Monroe and knows the Wildermannen (there's an eclectic group if I ever saw one), but he never woges for us.

I've been thinking that we know a wesen because he or she morphs, but we've been presuming otherwise on a case-by-case basis. I think it would be handy to start Season 2 with some idea of what's what.

I guess I'm talking about a RULE.
